Our History
From Two Baby Crocodiles to One of Limpopo's Favourite Attractions

Our story began in 1978 when Milan Darazs received two baby crocodiles as a gift from his wife, Blanka. What started as an unexpected present has grown into one of Limpopo's best-known tourist attractions, welcoming thousands of visitors from around the world each year.

Originally from Bratislava, Milan and Blanka immigrated to South Africa in 1969 and built Agatha Crocodile Ranch through passion, dedication, and a deep appreciation for wildlife. Today, the ranch continues to educate, inspire, and entertain visitors of all ages while promoting conservation and respect for one of Africa's most iconic predators.

Whether you're seeking a memorable family outing, an educational experience, or the chance to encounter one of nature's most formidable creatures up close, Agatha Crocodile Ranch is an attraction not to be missed. Come and discover why visitors from across the globe make Agatha Crocodile Ranch a highlight of their South African adventure.
